Before you call anyone, including us. Stopping the water is what limits the damage.
For one fixture, turn the small valve under the sink or behind the toilet clockwise. For anything bigger: if you can safely identify your home's main water shutoff, turn off the water and call us. If you are unsure which valve controls your home's water supply, do not force or operate unfamiliar utility equipment.
If water is running near outlets, light fittings or the breaker panel, do not walk into it and do not touch anything electrical. If you can reach your breaker panel from a dry spot, switch off the affected circuit. If you cannot, leave it and call an electrician or the fire service.
Tell us the water is off and roughly where it was coming from. That alone usually tells us what we are walking into and what to bring.

Running a gas line is not general handyman work. In Texas it is licensed-only, permit and inspection requirements depend on the scope and the jurisdiction, and getting it wrong is dangerous. It is also one of the things we do most: buried lines for standby generators, risers and regulators, natural gas quick-connects for grills and outdoor kitchens.
If someone has quoted you gas work without mentioning a permit, get a second opinion.

Yes. GarSan is led by a Responsible Master Plumber licensed by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, license RMP #44229. You can verify it yourself on the TSBPE website, and you should do that with any plumber you hire.
We are based in New Caney and serve Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita, Porter, Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, Tomball, Magnolia, Montgomery, plus the Artavia, The Highlands and Riverwalk communities. If you are just outside that, call and ask.
Our normal hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and we are closed Sunday. We may accept emergency calls outside those hours, including Sundays, based on availability. We do not advertise guaranteed 24/7 service, because we would rather tell you honestly whether we can get to you.
Yes. GarSan obtains required permits and coordinates inspections when required for the scope and jurisdiction, including water heater replacements, gas lines, repipes and sewer work. Unpermitted plumbing work causes real problems at resale and on insurance claims, so we do it properly the first time.
We look at the job, tell you what it will cost, and then do it for that. No surprise line items at the end. If there is more than one way to solve the problem, we will tell you the options and what each one costs. If we open something up and find a bigger problem, we stop and re-quote before carrying on.
